We're a family owned business based in St Martins, covering the whole city and the towns around it. Zone 1 is the Christchurch urban area — free quotes and no travel surcharge. Zone 2 is the towns and bays outside it.

Anywhere in the Christchurch urban area is Zone 1: quotes are free, and the first hour of a standard weekday job is $135 + GST including the $40 + GST call-out fee for travel, with no travel surcharge — an address in Belfast costs the same as one in Beckenham.
The towns and bays outside the city are Zone 2. We still come to you, but quote visits there are $50 + GST each (travel included), deducted in full from your invoice if you accept the quote, and a $20 + GST travel surcharge is added to each service visit, in addition to the first-hour minimum charge. Jobs outside the city mean a longer drive there and back. The Zone 2 travel surcharge and quote fee cover the extra vehicle costs that come with that: additional fuel, wear and tear on the van (tyres, brakes and servicing), and the extra time on the road. Charging these costs only on the jobs that need the longer trip means we don't have to raise our rates for everyone else.

- Quote visits $50 + GST ($57.50 incl. GST) per visit, travel included, and deducted from your invoice if you accept the quote
- Travel surcharge $20 + GST ($23.00 incl. GST) on every service visit, in addition to the first-hour minimum charge
- So a standard weekday first hour is $135 + GST + $20 + GST = $155 + GST ($178.25 incl. GST)
Why: the travel surcharge and quote fee cover the extra vehicle costs of the longer trip, such as additional fuel and wear and tear on the van.
Includes: Rolleston, Prebbleton, Lincoln, West Melton, Tai Tapu, Kaiapoi, Woodend, Rangiora, Governors Bay, Diamond Harbour, and anywhere else in Selwyn, Waimakariri or Banks Peninsula outside the Christchurch urban area.
